Analyses indicated that the scale was internally consistent. Scores increased with age and were higher in women and in participants with depression and anxiety. “Now that we have a validated measure of stress, we are assessing the influence of coping and distress on cognitive and motor aging, as well as [on] the onset of aMCI and Alzheimer’s disease,” said Richard B.
