In this video, the authors introduce an innovative anatomic model that uses readily accessible and reusable materials to simulate anatomic relationships in the female pelvis in 3 dimensions. Felt fabric pieces with hook-and-loop fasteners simulate the pelvic floor, perineum, and surrounding musculature as they attach to corresponding sites on a standard bony pelvis. The design incorporates the relationship of the ureter and major blood vessels in the pelvis by using yarn and ribbon.
