Brought to you by the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. In this video, the authors review the embryology of the female reproductive tract to understand the development of Müllerian anomalies. They discuss common anomalies, considerations for preoperative evaluation, and operative techniques through a series of cases. The first case reviews a hysteroscopic metroplasty in a woman with abnormal uterine bleeding and infertility. The subsequent cases demonstrate surgical management of medication refractory dysmenorrhea in a patient with uterus didelphys and pelvic pain in a patient with a unicornuate uterus and rudimentary horn.
