Selective Lumbar Spinal Drainage Counters Ischemia After TEVAR

Major Finding: In all, 16 cases of spinal cord ischemia developed after thoracic endovascular aorta repairs in a review of 266 TEVAR interventions in 239 patients.

Data Source: Review of experience at the University of Alabama at Birmingham between January 2000 and June 2010.
