Author and Disclosure Information

Regional aesthetic volume enhancement is a comprehensive approach that may be useful in develop-ment of treatment protocols for the youthful enhancement patient, the transitional rejuvenation patient, and the fully adult patient seeking restoration of the face to a more triangular shape. The 3 different age groups of patients tend to seek fairly distinct cosmetic outcomes. Calcium hydroxylapatite and other soft tissue fillers can be used to address the distinct needs of each of the 3 patient groups.
