Though Dr. Lovinsky’s career as a researcher grew from the foundation grant, she says, “The benefit of this award specifically was the gateway to the CHEST Foundation and all of the other opportunities within CHEST.” She is actively involved in the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force and brings many ideas to the table for the future of the CHEST Foundation. “I am committed to being involved with CHEST because of how much the organization has impacted my career.
