Suture injuries to the bladder can occur from inadvertent suture placement during surgery or postoperative erosion or migration of a suture into the bladder. This can lead to a chronic inflammatory reaction of the bladder wall and stone formation. The authors illustrate cystoscopic excision of an intravesical suture encrusted with bladder stone using a minimally invasive technique with a Carter-Thomason needle.
