ABSTRACTInfluenza vaccine supplies appear to be adequate for the 2005-2006 season, though delivery has been somewhat delayed. However, in the event of a pandemic of avian flu—considered inevitable by most experts, although no one knows when it will happen—the United States would be woefully unprepared.
