Atrial fibrillation: Rate control is as good as rhythm control for some, but not all

ABSTRACTFour recent trials compared the strategies of rate control vs rhythm control in patients with atrial fibrillation. All of them found a rate control strategy to be equivalent to a rhythm control strategy in terms of primary outcomes, but the findings may not apply equally to all patients.
