Osteoporosis Remains a Costly Burden to Older US Adults

Key clinical point: Older US adults continue to experience fragility fractures caused by osteoporosis.

Major finding: Fracture prevalence was increased in women and in older age, with patients 80 years or older and those of non-Hispanic white race having the highest prevalence of hip fracture.
