New study a reprieve for isoniazid during HIV pregnancy?

Key clinical point: Isoniazid to prevent TB during HIV pregnancy might be safe after all.

Major finding: Adverse birth outcomes were lower when HIV positive women were on isoniazid to prevent tuberculosis during pregnancy (16% vs. 28%; P = 0.08).
