Most RA Patients Trust Physicians’ Treatment Decisions

Key clinical point: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with high disease activity trust their doctor’s treatment goals.

Major finding: Overall, 81% of patients with high disease activity said that they trusted that their doctors had recommended the best treatment goals for them, but 20% also said they felt the doctor’s treatment goals were not in line with theirs.

Study details: The data come from 249 adults aged 19 years and older with diagnosed RA.
