Preliminary data show similar declines in worry, low regret with RRSO and RRS/RRO

Key clinical point: Cancer-related worry declined similarly with risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy and risk-reducing salpingectomy followed by delayed risk-reducing oophorectomy, and decision regret was low in both groups.

Major finding: At 3 and 12 months after surgery, Cancer Worry Scale scores declined by 1.9 and 1.4 points in the risk-reducing salpingo-oophorectomy and risk-reducing salpingectomy followed by delayed risk-reducing oophorectomy groups, respectively.

Study details: Preliminary data on 384 women from the multicenter TUBA study.

Disclosures: Dr. Steenbeek reported having no disclosures.
