BPA analogs increase blood pressure in animal study

Key clinical point: Bisphenol-A replacement chemicals may carry risks similar to those of bisphenol-A itself.

Major finding: Average blood pressure increase, compared with controls, ranged as high as 8 mm Hg in some measures.
