Hypertension often goes undertreated in patients with a history of stroke

Key clinical point: Despite being aware of their condition, patients with a history of stroke and high blood pressure frequently do not receive adequate treatment for the latter.

Major finding: More than 15% of the 4,971,136 million analyzed individuals with stroke and hypertension were not taking any blood pressure medication.
