European postmarket trial confirms findings of Disrupt CAD I

Key clinical point: Intravascular lithotripsy may be safely performed with high procedural success and minimal complications.

Major finding: The coronary intravascular lithotripsy system delivered stents successfully in all cases, with a high acute luminal gain (a mean of 1.7 mm2), and low residual stenosis (7.8%).

Study details: A postmarket, prospective, single-arm study of 120 subjects at 15 European sites.
