M. Alexander Otto began his reporting career covering the pharmaceutical industry for a national pharmacists' magazine and freelancing for the Washington Post and other newspapers. Mary Jo M. Dales is Editor in Chief and Editorial Director of the Medical News Division. Mary Jo began her 30-year career with the company as a reporter and went on to become the editor for various publications, including Skin & Allergy News, Family Practice News, and Hospitalist News. She was the founding editor of Rheumatology News, Cardiology News, Clinical Neurology News, and Clinical Endocrinology News and became the division's editorial director in 2002. Mary Jo has degrees in zoology and journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Denise Fulton, Executive Editor, Medical News Division, joined the company in 2000, editing Family Practice News and Skin & Allergy News prior to her current position. She covered health policy for a national advocacy group for 12 years and served as a staff member in the 100th Congress. Denise earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University.
